Le Burundi est un petit pays situé entre
l'AFRIQUE centrale et australe. Géostratégiquement très important, au
niveau mondial, pour sa proximité avec le géant CONGO RDC qui pèse
près de mille milliards de Dollars annuels en terme
d'exportation.
Ce mois-ci, nous tenterons de comprendre comment ce petit
pays d'AFRIQUE affronte son Histoire et les conséquences

with the UNDP, BM, EU ( FRANCE / BELGIUM / U.K./ NE ), USAID… in the
name of the STATE or in the name of the Burundian citizens.|

La société civile de l'UPRONA se comprend à partir de la rencontre
effectuer entre deux réseaux - une société civile incarnée par M.
NINDORERA et M. SEBUDANDI ( EX-PRESIDENTS DE LA LIGUE ITEKA ) - et -
le parti UPRONA entre autre M. NDUWAYO Gérard (cadre de l'ex. parti
unique ). -. Ensemble , M. Sebudandi Christophe et M. Nduwayo Gérard,
ont coordonné deux gros projets, suivit des écrits : l' “Etude sur la
stratégie et le programme d’appui à la société civile
burundaise"(2001) ;“La société civile burundaise: … Emergente, mais

of recent and current developments in Burundi

MRG's earlier report of July 1974, 'Selective
Genocide in Burundi', by Lemarchand and

controlled by the government which has systematically closed independent
channels of information. Any observer, however, confronted with the
evidence of the killing of at least 100,000 people in 1972,
has enough reliable
information to explain the events in ethnic terms as a slaughter of the
Hutu majority !

Très ouvert, non ethniste,
non claniste et non régionaliste, faisant face à une société criminalisée
socio - économiquement, ce petit fils de la Royauté burundaise
se souvient d'antan ! Il fait à sa façon. Cette
communion avec ses aïeux ne se commande pas ! N'en déplaise à
ceux qui ont gouverné le pays pendant 40 ans pour le réduire à néant.
A 9 mois déjà, la différence se voit à l'oeil nue. Elle
est palpable pour de nombreuses familles burundaises ... Tel une voix basse
qui lui souffle à l'oreille chaque matin : "Pierre, sur ces ruines,
tu rebâtiras le Burundi"; le président NKURUNZIZA fait son petit
bonhomme de chemin. La révolution burundaise avait bel et bien une

DE CHANVRE A BURURI.
6 zones de la commune Mugamba
de la province Bururi sont cultivatrices de chamvre. Les gens qui en
consomment sont nombreux, ce qui a pour conséquence le viol très fréquent
des femmes , des jeunes filles et des tuéries de toute sorte.D'après
l'administrateur de cette commune Mme Ndizigiye Félicité, des mesures sont
prises pour faire comprendre à la population les méfaits de cette plante.

qui reprend les rennes de l'opposition devançant largement le FRODEBU - Il
se fâche sur la Justice et les malversations économiques . Tandis que le

Depuis quelques années, le Peuple Américain ( US ) montre sa générosité vis
à vis des populations burundaises notamment avec le programme USAID/OTI.
Le programme débuté en 2004 et qui prendra fin en juillet 2006 ( 13
Millions de $US ), avait pour vocation deux champs d'action qui tiennent à
coeur l'équipe gouvernementale actuelle : La bonne gouvernance et la
participation citoyenne.|

La Diaspora burundaise de Belgique a près de
40 ans d'existence. Elle est composée essentiellement des vagues de
réfugiés des années 60, de 1972, des années 80 et de 1993. Tous ont fui les
REGIMES UPRONA MICOMBERO-BAGAZA - BUYOYA qui se sont succédé. Un grand
nombre d'entre eux sont devenus de vrais "BWANA". Bref ils ont bien réussi

centrale et australe, demeure le 3 ème pays le plus pauvre au monde.
Mme NZOMUKUNDA s'essaie à l'exercice difficile d'expliquer comment le
nouveau pouvoir CNDD-FDD, victorieux politiquement et militairement, à la
fin de la guerre civile que vient de vivre son pays, va dissoudre ce
système criminel qui gangrène l' économie depuis quatre décennies, en
empêchant la participation citoyenne. |
